Facade Seams

Collaboration with Molly Zmich & Maria Jose Fuentes | Design Innovation with Ali Rahim

These two facade systems draw upon the conventions of tracing to diagram natural processes in rust formations and the proximities of figuration embedded in art and architecture. A series of techniques create a composition of seams and edges that come together with calculated tolerances. With the application of materials and lighting, these systems gain a palpable resolution for architectural design.
